This is an historic mill in Weyant, Bedford County Pennsylvania, that is falling in on itself. This is a part of Pennsylvania's history and heritage that is being lost to nature. I tried to find some history on this mill and there was no clear history that I could say belongs to this site. One thing I learned in life is that nothing survives without intervention and real effort to preserve it. Even with the best of efforts, history can be lost and often is. While on one hand it is sad that these pieces of history are deteriorating before our eyes, we have to remember that we can enjoy these wonderful reminders of what we are about today and catalog these things for others to enjoy even when we are gone ourselves.
